Welcome to Susie Karlik's Dance Sensation, home of the awarding-winning SKDS Company Dancers! SKDS is celebrating its 25th year of dance in our state-of-the-art dance studio designed to enhance the dancing experience for teachers and students alike. We offer top instruction in the areas of tap, ballet, jazz, lyrical, and hip-hop classes for students ages 2 1/2 and up. We have 2 large dance rooms, a dancers lounge and a comfortable waiting room for parents. Our competition dance team achieves high overall scores in all of our dance competitions.

We believe that training in any kind of dance is rewarding, provided that it is taught by the most loving and caring of qualified teachers. Our instructors have outstanding credentials, follow a professional dance syllabus, and receive training in the latest dance styles being taught from New York to LA. Classes concentrate on technique, proper body placement, muscle strengthening, correct posture, body conditioning, correct terminology, coordination, and building students' self-esteem.

About Susie Karlik
Susie brings over 40 years of dance experience and over 30 years of professional teaching experience to her school. Since 1998, she has been the successful director/owner of Susie Karlik’s Dance Sensation.
Susie competed throughout the tri-state area for over 10 years in dance and modeling competitions. Being a dedicated teacher & choreographer, she has passed on her love of dance, talents, and experience to her students. She has received recognition and awards for her beautiful choreography in all forms of dance.
Susie is known for her ability to work well with children and teens. Susie has also been certified to teach dance to children, teens, and, adults in all areas of dance and exercise classes offered at the studio.
